The Gordon Parks Memorial project is currently raising $200,000 to initiate Phase 2 and Phase 3.
These funds will allow local St. Paul artist Seitu Jones to produce a preliminary design for the Gordon Parks Memorial, while engaging the community in the development of the concept. After the preliminary design is vetted by stakeholder groups, Seitu and his team will continue to develop the design concept, produce iterations of the design, and spend time understanding Gordon Parks more fully.
